In Dialogue III with Pianist Chiyan Wong
Riding on the success of the previous sessions, we welcome back Hong Kong-born pianist Chiyan Wong for the third round!
Chiyan is the awardee of the prestigious 40th Grand Prix du Disque by the Franz Liszt Society in Budapest, Hungary, in recognition of his critically-acclaimed debut album Liszt Transfigured: Operatic Fantasies for Piano on LINN Records, which features Liszt’s operatic transcriptions completed and edited by Chiyan himself. His major debuts include Hong Kong Arts Festival, Wigmore Hall, International Music Festival in Dinard, France and the 19th Singapore International Piano Festival. Chiyan is currently pursuing his further music studies at the Royal Academy of Music as a Lee Hysan Foundation Scholar.
