Music Instructor (Full-Time) 

An inspiring, creative and innovative music teacher to teach and assist with the development of our Junior and Adult Programmes for Jazz & Pop Division. The candidate should have a clear understanding of the local music scene, curriculum and needs, with an international outlook on music education in the areas of Jazz and Pop. Community engagement through music is a must. 

Requirements: 

  1. BA in Music or Music Education 
  2. Ability to work with musicians and students of all skill levels 
  3. Strong instrumental experience, including piano accompaniment 
  4. Strong sense in bridging community and social context through music 
  5. Minimum of 5+ years teaching piano and vocal privately and/or in a group setting 
  6. Knowledge of the latest music software and technology 
  7. Adaptable, fun-loving, collaborative 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Teach vocal, piano and music technology (group class and/or individual lessons)
  2. Work closely with HPMF’s Programme Team in developing course curriculum, annual music festivals and overall direction of Jazz and Pop for both Junior and Adult Programmes
  3. Evaluate and provide an environment for student’s musical growth and progress
  4. Prepare students for quarterly performance, masterclass and/or workshop opportunities 
  5. Design bespoke short-term courses and workshops

Part Time Assistant

Requirements:

  1. Diploma holder or above in any disciplines
  2. Proficient in English & Mandarin
  3. Candidate with working experience is preferred
  4. Good PC skills
  5. Willing to work irregular hours eg. Sundays & Public Holidays

Marketing Associate

Requirements: 

  1. Bachelor degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related disciplines with a keen interest in arts, culture and heritage
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of solid experience working in Marketing, Branding Development or Communications
  3. Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) with strong presentation skill set
  4. Able to think out of the box, goal-oriented, self-starter, able to cope in a fast paced environment

  1. Work closely with Programme Team on all marketing communications relating to Music, Heritage and Social Enrichment Programmes including external collaborations, concerts, workshops, forums and festivals
  2. Oversee and implement marketing campaigns online and offline including but not limited to copywriting for marketing collaterals, including brochures, press releases, emails, newsletters and websites

Programme Associate

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or above with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the performing arts and/or cultural management field
  2. Require to formulate and coordinate with various internal and external parties on curriculum / projects including developing budget and operating plan
  3. Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and presentation skills
  4. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel , Power Point and Outlook

Requirements: 

  1. Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
