Following his critical acclaimed performances with the HK Philharmonic and Premiere Performances of Hong Kong, we are honoured to have Berlin-based Hong Kong pianist Chiyan Wong return to Haw Par Music for a performance to kickstart our Art Basel Week!
Wong was awarded the prestigious 40th Grand Prix du Disque by the Franz Liszt Society in Budapest, Hungary, in recognition of his critically-acclaimed debut album Liszt Transfigured: Operatic Fantasies for Piano on LINN Records, which features Liszt’s operatic transcriptions completed and edited by Chiyan himself.
