Haw Par Music is now recruiting volunteers to join our Docent Team, to serve our regular free guided tours and other events or activities for the public in their spare time.
 
We are looking for persons with the following qualities:
˙      Passionate in music, culture and heritage conversation
˙      Enjoy meeting people of all ages from all walks of life
˙      Good communication skills and willing to interact with others
˙      Ready to devote their free time regularly
 
Becoming our docent is not only an opportunity for you to meet like-minded friends, but also allows you first-hand access to our rich historical artefacts, which are gradually restored for display in Haw Par Music. We are also pleased to offer complimentary Friends of Haw Par membership to our docents.
 
Haw Par Music will offer training to volunteers in order to equip them with a deep understanding of the premise’s history, culture, architectural features and revitalisation process, as well as basic skills for delivering guided tours.
